Beto Cuevas, Alejandro Sanz, Fher from Maná, Miguel Bosé, Laura Pausini, Michael Bublé, and Juan Luis Guerra will join their voices to create a new version of “Gracias a la Vida”, written by Violeta Parra. Beto Cuevas who was a judge at Viña del Mar in Chile during the earthquake said this:
“Estoy muy orgulloso de este proyecto e inmensamente agradecido de que estos artistas, a los que tanto admiro, colaboren en una causa por mi país”

Rosario Sierra, the Mexican singers Mother, died after a log battle with cancer. She passed away on March the 10th in a hospital in San Antonio, Texas. The singer/songwriter was in Mexico during the time of death of his Mother. Fher had to interrupt the recording of Maná’s new album for a couple of days due to this tragic event.

Two months ago it was for Haiti, now it’s for Chile. The Puertorican singer as called in the artist community to join Habitat for Humanity and The Ricky Martin Foundation to help plan the reconstruction of both countries. Ricky Martin and The Habitat for Humanity Foundation gathered Latin artists and actors such as: Gustavo Cerati, Carlos Santana, Alejandro Sanz, Nelly Furtado, Rubén Blades, Eva Longoria, Enrique Iglesias, and Juanes just to name a few, on a video asking to aid Haiti and Chile. The Latin singer recognized that his foundation together with HFH was a strong and effective help to the victims of the tsunami in 2004.
