“Rumor” has it that Jenny from the block and her hubby, Marc Anthony, will be announcing their divorce shortly after Valentine’s Day. The word on the street is that the power couple is set to sing together one last time during Marc’s Valentine Day concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Since news of the pending split broke last week there has been no slowing it down. The NY Daily News even reported that Marc and Jennifer are divorcing right after Valentine’s Day. Their publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, spoke out about the Valentine’s divorce reports and said “There is no merit to the article.”

Shakira will be patriotically kicking off the New Year. The Colombiana singer has been invited to perform at the White House for Obama’s Inauguration in January 2009.

The singer has shown support for the Obama campaign since before the elections, so it is no surprise that the President invited her to help jumpstart the party.

The Latin Grammy award winning Tommy Torres and telenovela star Karla Monroig secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas after the Thanksgiving holiday.

The sexy Puerto Rican couple unfortunately did not get to enjoy a romantic getaway seeing that both stars need to head back to work ASAP.
