Sprung on LaLa!

This heavenly creature has been doing the West Coast R&B thang for a minute, but the world’s about to get a taste of homegirl’s sassy style. More than a curvy beauty (damn those curves!!), LaLa has what it takes to top the charts. Her sultry voice melts over feel-good tracks and adds just enough Spansglish to make you wanna take her home to meet the fam!

Her upcoming album should be a doozy! She somehow managed to get, not one, but FOUR legendary rappers to bless her LP. She’s got Fat Joe on a laid-back remake of L.L.Cool J’s “I Need Love”, giving the album some necessary East Coast flavor. But her strength, of course, lies in her Cali vibe, and for that she enlisted the help of true veteranos. She cut tracks with Mack 10 (of West Side Connection), Lil’ Rob and The Game.

The Story Behind Will.i.Am’s “Yes We Can” Obama Video

It was Barack Obama’s speech in New hampshire during the 2008 primary elections that captivated Will.i.Am. He thought of Lincoln, Kennedy and Marthin Luther King. It was as powerful a speech as he’d ever heard, and it inspired him.

He thought of putting Obama’s words to music, then happened upon a guitar arrangement composed by his long-time friend George Pajon, Jr. The result, as we all know, was an internet sensation that reached the eyes & ears of a new generation of voters.

We sat down with George Pajon, Jr. to talk about the phenomenon of the “Yes We can” song, as well as the Spanish version he recorded with Taboo (of Black Eyed Peas) and Andy Vargas.
